Today's finally Thursday. Yay! Mother's day is Sunday and Jeremy asked me where I wanted to have lunch? He said ANYWHERE....I hate that....because then I just don't know. Brennan & Bryce were exhausted this morning after staying up so late last night. Bryce pitched and the Brewers won 11-10 against the Nationals. It was a tight game, but the boys did a great job. My poor Bryce slept all the way to school. It's getting closer to summer now and I'm trying to get the boys camps and activities all situated. The biggest news of this week was that the U.S. finally killed Bin Laden. He was the massive terrorist that killed so many American's on 9/11/2001. It's been almost ten years and the president stated "we got him". So...that's all so far this week that's been actively on television, internet, etc...
Off to work! Praise God for all the blessings for my sweet family!

I'm getting there
Thank heavens for Shabby Blogs! I think I've finally got something that looks good. It's been such an ordeal for me to get this thing done. So...back to Saturday night...we ended up going to the Hard Rock Cafe' with our friends, David & Amanda Haygood. Then we ventured over to Cullen's to hear some Mombo Jombo band ??? We had a great time though.
Sunday morning we went to church and Bruce spoke on Peace. It was a great service and I have to remember that when you follow the Peacemaker, you make peace and you receive peace! Thank you Lord for such a wonderful sermon. I am learning to rely on God for all area's of my life. Sometimes it seems difficult, but through Him all things are possible. After church, we went to Cafe' Adobe and celebrated TJ's 11th birthday. To end our Sunday, we went to group to discuss the Praying Life book further. It was fun to share my "prayer cards" because I scrapbooked them in a library drawer and it was a lot of fun to make. Now I need to get to work and go over my prayer cards each day.
Now for today...it was another manic Monday. The first of the month at the office is always a little busier because...well...it's the first of the month and we have to close the prior month and start all over again. So, tonight I sat and played with this "blog" design and hoping to figure out how to center the title now and then I can quit being bothered by it not being "pretty" and move on to journaling (like I'm supposed to). Ha!
Well...good night!

It's time...
So, I'm finally really putting time and work in to figuring out this "blog" thing. I really want to journal and record moments that mean the most. It's amazing that my boys are growing so fast and time is speeding by so quickly. Brennan is now 14 (almost 15) and Bryce is 10. They are both growing up to be awesome young men. They play sports and are very active. It's almost the end of the school year (9th grade for Brennan and 4th grade for Bryce). It doesn't even seem real that Bryce will be going to middle school in the fall. It's literally making my stomach sick to think that I have 3 years left with Brennan and that my baby is not going to be in elementary. Just a few months ago when I dropped Brennan off on the first day of high school, he said; "don't worry mom, today is the first day of the rest of my life". I don't think I cried that much when I left him in Kindergarten. It's really making me sad, but I am so happy that both of the boys are healthly, athletic, strong and going in the right direction.
Just started my prayer cards inspired by a bible study we just did with our group at church. The book was A Praying Life by Paul Miller and was a fabulous study on prayer. I'm learning to give God the glory in all things (even when it doesn't seem fair). I went to lunch with a blogger friend yesterday and she told me how easy blogging was. I told her I just wanted mine to be pretty. Hmmm! Of course...I love pretty "things". Ha! Well...tonight Jeremy and I are going on a date. We'll see exactly where we land, but for now we are planning on going to the Wine Dive downtown somewhere and then going to hear some music somewhere. He loves music. He's just started working on his new venture, Palapa Mac Radio and he finds inspiration in all types of music and fun places. I hope to keep this blogging going like a journal...so here goes...let's see if I can do this!
