Today was back to school and work. Jeremy went to the doctor this afternoon because he injured himself at work yesterday. He has a strained/sprained muscle in his right leg. Bless his heart. I hope he feels better soon. He won't go back to the doctor until the 24th. I just got home from work and picking up Brennan. Bryce just finished homework and I'm chillaxin for a moment. I'm not proud of myself today because I snapped at Jenell once again. I am not sure why our staff isn't connecting with her. Sandy asked if I could go to lunch today because she needed to talk to me about how she's "feeling" about the office. We agreed that it's just not the same these days. I'm so sad and anxious and really need the Lord to intervene. Of course, I realized that I was more than irritated when I got in the car and thought about it.
Lord, please help me to deal with Jenell. I ask that you help me in this spiritual battle. Help me not to be consumed with what she doesn't do, but see the good things she does and point them out. Somehow, I ask that her eyes be opened and her heart softened to You. Only You can control this situation and help me control my tongue. Please forgive me for snapping at her and help me be Jesus to her. Thank you Lord for the beautiful things You will bring to FDC. In Your Name. Amen
Well...the summer is nearing and I'm excited for the kids to have a break. Now praying for God to pour out His blessings on Bryce as he's entering middle school. Direction for Jeremy and I for where he needs to go to school. Carter Lomax seems to have a lot of troubled children, but we are praying for a smooth transition and believe God will show us what we need to do. Happy Monday!
